Business Terms & Conditions of Sale

Solution World of Clean Ltd

World of Clean is a trade-only, Business-to-Business (B2B) website. By placing an order with us, you confirm that you are purchasing goods for business or professional use. These terms do not apply to consumer purchases, and consumer statutory rights (such as the 14-day cooling-off period) do not apply.

1. Application of Terms

These terms and conditions apply to all business transactions and sales of goods by Solution World of Clean Ltd (“the Company”) to the purchaser (“the Customer”). By placing an order, the Customer confirms they are purchasing goods for business use, agrees to provide true and accurate information (including a valid email and phone number), and agrees to be bound by these terms.

2. Product Information & Availability

  • Descriptions: We endeavour to ensure all items are accurately described. All measurements are approximate.

  • Availability: Stock levels are updated weekly. If an ordered item is found to be unavailable, we will contact you with an estimated restock date or offer a substitute.

  • Specialised Items: Built-to-order machinery and machine packages are supplied on estimated lead times only. We do not guarantee specific delivery dates for these items and accept no liability for consequential losses due to delay.

3. Pricing, Payment & Retention of Title

  • Pricing: All prices are stated in Pounds Sterling (£) and are exclusive of VAT.

  • Pricing Errors: In the event of a pricing error, we reserve the right to correct the price. The Customer will have the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel the order.

  • Payment: We accept PayPal, Credit Card, Bank Transfer, or Cheque/Postal Order (payable to Solution World of Clean Ltd).

  • Retention of Title: All goods remain the fully owned property of Solution World of Clean Ltd until paid for in full.

    • We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue accounts.

    • We reserve the right to reclaim goods if payment is not received. Any costs incurred in the recovery of such goods will be charged to the Customer.

4. Delivery & Transfer of Risk

  • Standard Schedule (Mon–Thu): Orders received before 3:00 pm are aimed for dispatch same-day for delivery within 1–2 working days.

  • Friday Orders: Orders must be placed before 12:30 pm to be dispatched that day for delivery on the following Monday.

  • Saturday Delivery: Available upon request. Please call 01209 204343 to book.

  • Transfer of Risk (Liability): It is the Customer’s strict responsibility to be available to accept the delivery. If no one is available, the courier may leave the goods unattended at the delivery address. At this point, the order is deemed “delivered” and risk passes entirely to the Customer. We accept no liability for theft, loss, or weather damage occurring after delivery.

5. Inspection, Damages & Shortages

Time is of the essence regarding inspection.

  • Reporting Deadline: You must inspect all goods immediately upon arrival. Any issues with missing, incorrect, damaged, or leaking items must be reported to us on the day of delivery.

  • Procedure: Please email details and photographic evidence immediately to hello@worldofclean.co.uk.

  • Courier Notes: Do not sign for a delivery until you have checked the box count and inspected for visible damage. If damage is visible, you must sign as “DAMAGED” or refuse the shipment.

  • Exclusion: Failure to report issues on the day of delivery constitutes acceptance of the goods as being in perfect condition.

6. Cancellation

A. Cancellation by Us (Product Unavailable) We may cancel a contract if the product is not available for any reason. We will notify you if this is the case and return any payment that you have made via the original payment method.

B. Cancellation by You (Before Dispatch) In the event that you cancel an order before the items have been dispatched, we will give you a full refund of any monies paid within 30 working days of receipt of written notification (via post or email).

C. Cancellation by You (After Dispatch)

  • 7-Day Window: At our discretion, we may accept a cancellation of your order within 7 working days following the day after you receive your order.

  • Exceptions: Specially ordered items (machinery and equipment) may not normally be cancelled or returned for credit.

  • Restocking Fee: Cancelled orders after 7 days of receipt may be subject to a restocking fee of 20% or an amount proportional to the true cost to the business.

7. Returns Policy

  • Conditions: We will accept faulty or damaged returned items up to 30 days from the invoice date (at your expense).

  • Item Condition: Goods need to be returned in ‘as new’ condition. You must take reasonable care of the goods and may inspect and assess them, but not use them.

  • No Trial Basis: We do not supply goods on a “trial” or “test basis”.

  • Notification: Please call customer services to notify us of returns immediately after noticing a fault or damaged item.

  • Refunds: Refunds will be made back to the method of payment used at the time of purchase (i.e., your account or a cheque) within 30 working days.

  • Statutory Rights: Please note that your right to return items in accordance with these terms is in addition to any other statutory rights you may have.

8. Warranty & Faulty Goods

  • Returns Period: We accept returns for valid manufacturing faults up to 30 days from the invoice date (at your expense).

  • Warranty: Our specific Machine & Parts Warranties form part of these terms and conditions.

  • Servicing: Our Workshop Servicing & Repairs terms form part of these terms and conditions.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Solution World of Clean Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss or damage (including loss of profit, business, or goodwill) arising out of or in connection with the supply of goods.

10. General & Data Protection

  • Data Protection: We process all personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms and conditions.

  • Contract Storage: We store the contract details and will send you your order details via email. Details of your recent orders can be found in your customer login area at any time.

  • Severability: If any of these terms are found to be invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions, which shall remain fully enforceable.

  • No Waiver: No waiver by us of any term (e.g., allowing a late payment once) shall be deemed to be continuing or a waiver of any other term.

  • Offers & Coupons: Apply to online UK Mainland orders only. Limited to one use per business. Cannot be combined with trade account discounts.

  • Jurisdiction: These terms are governed by English Law.
