Machine & Parts Warranties
We offer a fully comprehensive 12 months non transferable warranty on new machines. Warranty’s are valid for UK mainland based customers only.
We offer 3 months warranty on replacement parts such as vacuum motors and pumps etc.
During that time we undertake to exchange or repair free of charge any part found to be defective, provided that:
- The machine or part has been used in accordance with the instruction manual.
- The machine or part has not been subject to misuse, neglect or an accident, including (but not limited to) vacuum water/foam ingress, freezing and chemical misuse.
- No chemicals other than those intended for use in hot water extraction machines have been used. Use of other agents could cause damage to the machine and will invalidate the warranty.
Warranty returned items will always be inspected. Wear & tear or operator fault will invalidate the warranty terms, for example water or foam through a vacuum motor, components freezing, cables being pulled from plugs, etc.
External cables, plugs and switches, screws, internal hoses, quick connects, filters and seals, are not covered by warranty.
Any parts that have been replaced and are not part of the original build will be covered by a 90 day.
Replacement vacuums and pumps carry a separate three month warranty.
Incorrect fitting/installation are not covered under warranty.
Machines – must be returned to Solution World of Clean at your own cost for inspection/repair. The cost of return post/carriage is the responsibility of the customer and must be paid prior to item being collected if we are organising collection. Return postage/carriage are the responsibility of the customer and will not be reimbursed. All warranty returns must be received within 28 days from the date of claim/replacement sent. Items returned after this period will not be eligible for a claim.
Labour charges will only be included if the machine (or failed part) is returned to our premises. We will not be liable for third party labour charges. Our warranty is on a ‘return to home’ basis, this means that you will need to return the machine or part to us for inspection/repair.
Repairs needed outside of the warranty will be billed at standard our workshop rate. Unless a prior quotation is specifically requested, the service/repairs will be carried out and charged for accordingly. There are set charges for servicing and labour, parts will be charged at list price – please contact us for current prices. All prices exclude VAT.
Parts – can be sent out by post/courier and will be charged for at time of ordering. On receipt of the faulty part back it will be inspected and if approved as a warranty claim a full refund will be made (via the original payment method).
Note : During examination and inspection of goods or equipment returned under warranty, if any evidence of access/tampering is found the warranty will immediately be deemed null and void, all and any further work will be chargeable in full.
